Not in New York City? We can still develop your film—including all those old disposable cameras you’ve got lying around the house!

It’s super easy! Send your film or disposables to 31 Washington Square West, Suite 5-RC, New York NY, 10011. Please include a note that has your contact information and what you would like done with your film and/or disposable cameras. Do you want it developed and the photos sent to you electronically? Do you want prints, too? Do you want high-quality printouts of digital files?

It’s very important to protect your disposables and film in transit. Stick your film in a plastic Ziploc bag. Some people use envelopes with the bubble padding, but we think that a sturdy box with some protective padding inside, secured by solid tape, is the best way. Be sure to indicate on the box “Do not X-Ray.” There is more info on what to say about X-Rays here.

If you are paying via Venmo or PayPal, we will email and/or call when we get your film or disposables with the total, including sales tax. Once payment is processed, we will go ahead and start on your lovely film and dispos!

If you are paying by check, please email us before you ship, so that we can calculate the total with sales tax prior to your sending.

If you want your negatives back, or if you are ordering prints: return shipping starts at $10. We understand this isn’t cheap, but the least expensive shipping we’ve seen, within the U.S., has been around $9. If you’re on the fence about getting your negatives back due to price, we are happy to get an estimate, and wait for your OK on said estimate, before mailing them back.

“Submitting any tangible or electronic media, image, data, file, card, disc, device, film, print, slide or negative for, any purpose, such as processing, printing, duplication, alteration, enlargement, storage, transmission, or other handling, constitutes an AGREEMENT that any loss or damage to it by 5RPhotoLab and/or AV Pictures LLC, its subsidiary or agents, even though by our negligence or other fault, will only entitle you to replacement with an equivalent quantity/size, of unexposed photo-graphic film or electronic media, and processing of the replacement media. Except for such replacement, our acceptance of the media, image, data, file, card, disc, device, film, print, slide, or negative is without other liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damage is excluded. No express or implied warranty is provided.”
